# Rock / fossil / crystal inat?

You can post fossils on iNat, but they must be marked as no recent evidence of organism, and there may be some issues with the taxonomy ([https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/curator+guide#extinct](https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/curator+guide#extinct)).
