Is there a way for identifiers to find observations which have been identified as a specific species, genus, family, etc., where that isn’t the leading identification? For example, if the initial observer thought the organism was a fungus, and a subsequent identifier said slime mold, the observation will be classified as “Life”, and won’t appear in searches for fungi or mycetozoa. I feel like this would be especially useful for experts who could help resolve the disagreement, but I can’t see any obvious way to find these.
yes, you need to use the string ident_taxon_id= in your URL
for example, here’s the search URL for the plant NSW Coral Heath: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?verifiable=true&taxon_id=83601
if you edit that URL, and stick
ident_
in between the & and taxon_id, you get this link:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?verifiable=true&ident_taxon_id=83601
which will return all observations that have at least one active ID of that taxon, regardless of what the community ID is
