Setting up a location specific Project

So I was running a birding group today and thought I’d introduce the group to iNaturalist by creating a project for the particular area we were in. Unfortunately only one other person turned up - due to the bad weather, however I decided I would still go and take photos and observe things and add them to the project for that area.

Later in the day I did more observations at home and was dismayed to find that they were added to the project I set up, even though I was in a different location. I thought that if I set up a location specific Project it would only take on my observations for that location. What am I missing or not understanding? The project can be seen at https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/projects/lillydale-lake-och-project and I would appreciate your thoughts/suggestions/feedback as to how to fix this, so when I plan to do another one, I don’t have the same issue.

You have 2 locations listed – both the lake you intend and Victoria ?
Or does your home lie within the area mapped around the lake ?
If you take out Victoria and only have the lake ?

Ok, that was the problem? I didn’t realise I had two areas there, thought I only had the lake. Thanks, I’ll see how to fix that. Much appreciated.
