I recently received two emails from the Canadian Wildlife Federation. One sent to my registered Canadian Wildlife Federation (cwf@xxxxx) and another one sent to my iNaturalist email account (inaturalist@xxxxx). I did not think our iNaturalist email addresses were publicly available? How did the Canadian Wildlife Federation get hold of my iNat email id?
The subject was “Pollinators still need you, triple your gift today!” and sent from “info@cwf-fcf.org”
Thanks!

Since your iNaturalist account is affiliated with iNaturalist Canada (which is a collaboration with the Canadian Wildlife Federation), they have access to the email address associated with your iNaturalist account. You can read more about network affiliation and the network sites.
@jpage_cwf can help clarify if you should have received that particular email.
(For your privacy, I suggest editing your original post to remove your exact email address.)
