Should an observation require 3 IDs to reach "research grade" when the observer is just agreeing with a suggestion?

It’s not a crime to ask about solutions to a problem (that other people are clearly aware of) before quantitatively demonstrating its scale. The snarky, repetitive line-by-line replies are totally over the top. Your point could have been made in a single sentence: “I’m not sure this is actually that big an issue, your proposed solution is definitely too drastic without some data on the scale of the problem.”

No need to call anyone arrogant or claim everyone is suffering from a cognitive bias. (But by your standards it’s pretty arrogant of you to claim we’re all suffering from a cognitive bias with zero evidence. Surely there’s a substantial burden of proof on you to demonstrate our mass delusion.)

Adding uncertainty may take care of some frivolous agreements. For example [Agree] brings up commonly confused species the person needs to discard before the agreement finalises.
