Asking for a friend! A person on a Facebook bird page I’m part of posted this - “Most years, here on the Olympic Peninsula, we have a tremendous invasion of swallows in the spring (at our house, mostly Tachycineta bicolor,
T. thalassina, and Hirundo rustica). But 2020 numbers at our house were unusually low; and by August they’d already all vanished.” He was wondering if something was going on that he had missed. Has anyone got any information/ideas? Olympic Peninsula is near Seattle, for those - like me - who don’t know.

Thank you very much! I’ll pass all this on.

The person I’m referring to said these results were perfect (although in a larger sense disappointing). So again, thank you.
