Can anyone help me understand why [this many-to-many TFR](https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_framework_relationships/265332) is showing up as a deviation instead of a match?

I’ve double-checked, and it has the same taxa at the same ranks with the same parents both internally and externally. What am I missing?

It looks like many-to-many is automatically a deviation:

Is there a reason you chose that instead of individual relationships for each taxon?

Efficiency and convenience, I suppose, when dealing with subspecies of a single species.

I know that is one way to create a deviation. But I could have sworn I had also seen many-to-many relationships before that were matches. I must be mis-remembering…
