While everyone else is posting milestones about their own observation or species counts, I’d like to take a moment to mark this special occasion: the cumulative total of unique identifiers who have contributed to my observations (within mainland China) has just hit 2,000. Looking back on these five years since I first joined, I realize that any recognition I’ve gained isn’t truly my own achievement. Instead, it’s thanks to fellow naturalists from countless communities and countries around the world. Your expertise far surpasses mine, and I’m deeply grateful for every identification, correction, and insight you’ve shared on my records. May we all continue to grow, improve, and advance together on this journey of nature documentation!
