i set the location for search for Estonia, but i still get setting for status and native \ invasive names for Israel, which i prefer to be for Estonia as i study the local flora there at the moment and have no need for Israel information a the moment.
Is there a way to change?

It was empty before because i dislike the fixated on explore section.
But i have put Estonia, and so far didn’t help, i will wait for tomorrow to see if some time update this issue
The Estonia place restriction on that page only affects the data in this section:
So it means there are no verifiable observations of this species in Estonia.

What locale is you account set to? I think that can affect the status that gets shown on the taxon page.
So, 3 days later nothing changed.
but it was preferred on Israel lexicon, so i dropped that too.
,Now i tried the species " Ciconia ciconia" the common stork
while setting search results for Estonia, and being Native in Estonia check list, still, on the Stork page is says in the status “VU in Israel”

I have the same issue as this now-closed topic: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/how-to-change-locality-for-species-status-display/53383. I think this is probably best described as a bug or a feature request, but maybe I’m just missing something.
Basically, I have no idea why my locale is set to Oregon. I am from Oregon, started my account while there, and probably have most of my observations there, but haven’t lived there for about 6 years. My locale for preferred common names is not Oregon (see below screenshot - but I only recently changed the English locale to English (PNW) from the more generic English, specifically to try to fix this this issue)
@tiwane seemed to suggest in that other thread that there was a way to change the overall account locale, but I don’t see that option anywhere. In the settings screenshotted below, the Language/Locale options don’t actually seem to enable the selection of specific locales - only general languages. Or at least the locales are limited - I believe for English the only options are English or English (UK). And the Default Search Place option shouldn’t affect this kind of thing. I played with that, anyway, and it didn’t change anything relevant (even the default filtration place, as you can see above).
I’ve also pretty much ruled out something like a browser locale setting, since I’ve just gotten a new computer with fresh installs that have never touched Oregon. As far as I can tell.
When I lived far away from the PNW I decided this didn’t bother me since it kept me connected to home! But now that I’m permanently in Washington, I’d love to have those invasive species notes etc. be a bit more relevant for me. I assume my locale is stuck somewhere in the backend from back when I started my account, and that there is actually no user-facing option to change that right now…?

Nothing (at least nothing in terms of the introduced species warning and default filter shown in the first screenshot). I believe in the other thread it was stated that that setting has a limited effect on a specific page

Since then it’s still doing it. But sometimes when i study specific locale country by using the search filter it kinda works only there. But didn’t solve the original issue. Thank you.

I changed it to a bug report and set it not to auto-close. Also not totally sure if it is a bug report, but I can’t figure out how to change my locale from “United States” to anything else either…
,I tried changing the site language setting, adding/removing a filter by place, removing/changing default common name lexicon.
This is a bug related to multiple common names implementation, we no longer allow you to choose your account’s place_id, which is what was related to the common names place you chose for your account.
We’ll probably need to add it back as a setting, but will have to come up with language that clearly defines it in relation to one’s regional choices for common names (eg Spanish (Mexico)).

To summarize, I am currently living in Estonia and studying the local flora/fauna here. However, my taxon pages are still heavily favoring and displaying common names and conservation statuses from my previous region (Israel).
for example, seeing “CR in Israel” for the White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) instead of local Estonian conservation data (which is VU), despite setting my search results and account preferences to Estonia.
Per the suggestions in the previous thread, I have gone into my Content & Display settings to clear things out. Currently, I have no place set, only language, and I did not assign my account to a specific network/locale like iNaturalist Israel. Yet, the old regional status persists.
As requested by @bouteloua before the last thread closed, here are the screenshots of my current taxon page display and my account’s Content and Display settings:
Is there an underlying account locale or database caching issue that keeps pinning my taxon page priority to my old region? Any guidance on how to completely refresh this so it defaults to Estonian flora/fauna status would be greatly appreciated.
