Oh, very cool! Thank you! :)
Been meaning to chose a selection of things that I though were cute but not traditionally so.
This katydid

This brazilian wandering spider looks worried…in a cute way?

I quite liked this fire click beetles face

I could probably easily do a top 10 of my fave cute harvestmen, but to go outside my main groups, and for something I cant even begin to place.

In defense of the cute underwater critters:
This photo doesn’t quite capture just how adorable and delicate this tiny seahorse was. The size length of small nail.
Or this little Goby keeping both eyes on you:
I think lots of bees are cute, but this hibiscus turret bee sleeping on my zinnia was especially cute this morning.
I think I scared him…it’s crazy how cute robber flies can be, at least in my opinion!
I like his little tongue :)
Oh, this is somehow really unexpectedly cute. The position of the legs and staring at the camera… an awesome shot ![]()

ACM: Accidental Cute Mimicry in an adult Leaf-footed Bug, Acanthocephala terminalis as it tries to scrape off a couple of mite-y hitchhikers.
This is my new favorite picture! It totally cracks me up and is so cute with those mite “eyes.” It looks like a cartoon character kicking back and relaxing. ![]()
Want some cuteness overload? Try this experiment: place a mirror in front of a jumping spider! https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/301496858
I’ll try that next time I see one ;)
I thought this swallowtail caterpillar ( https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/310081493 ) was quite cute. I’ll admit I anthropomorphise mimics a lot, but it always seems like they’re just hoping “Go away… go away…I’m scary…”
