A Zanzibar Black-and-rufous Sengi. Pretty cute for what my partner described as a “well-dressed rat with a silly nose.”

I was in awe of how cute this mule deer was when I looked back at the photo! I also think this hawk is quite cute from this angle!

I’m going to do some springtails, which may be unexpectedly cute to some, and I’m just starting to get better(ish) photos of them, so I thought I’d share!

I found this gorgeous springtail on my drainpipe!! https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/334765729

I found this one on a hike while my brothers were stopped to fish!! https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/332633987

Found this one while waiting to be picked up at the end of a long day at my co-op (And yes, I had some questions about what I was taking pictures of, to which I vaguely responded “Whatever I can find”) https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/334734353

A two-in-one!! This is now one of my favorite photos! I found these on an old wooden plank in my backyard!! https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/334782729 https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/334782724

This little guy was also on my drainpipe, and I was very surprised to see him there! I had never paid that old pipe a second glance until I saw some springtails crawling along it, and since then, I have gotten several lifers out of that old thing :) https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/334984504

This is a lot, but I haven’t been very active in this topic for a while, and I’m kind of in the middle of an obsession for springtails at the moment (Despite my camera having a terrible macro setting). Hope you enjoyed these, and if you’re interested, there are springtails, all around us! (Especially feasting on damp wood or hiding in the grass)

Well, a springtail obsession certainly isn’t a bad thing. I suppose I’ll be obsessed with springtails for a long time…

Well, I suppose these juvenile Passer domesticus are cute, are they not?

And a moment later, the mother came to feed them, unfortunately my camera was fixed on a tripod…

At ~7mmish, the face on this small stag was cuter than expected when I put the stack togather.
