Unrelated Taxon Appearing First in Search Due to Synonym

Description of problem:

Step 1: Search for “Solidago rig-” for the locally common species Solidago rigida and Solidago rigidiuscula

Step 2: Results provide Solidago rugosa first because it has a synonym “Solidago rigidula”

It’s goldenrod ID season in North America, so I figured it’s the most appropriate time to ask for this again. Is there some way to ensure that current scientific names can be prioritized over synonyms in Search? I use synonyms/previous names all the time, so I understand their value, but in this case, the primary taxon name seems like it should be top priority.

edit: Apologies if this should be in feature request instead of Bug Report. It doesn’t seem to be the website functioning as intended, so I went with Bug Report

there’s a feature request for this here https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/prioritize-scientific-name-over-synonym-and-names-in-other-languages-in-species-search/23191 though unfortunately it has no movement
