URL search for new species of Lepidoptera this year

I have read the URL instruction pages and the length of the instructions makes my eyes cross.
I just want to know how to find my own observations of moths (not butterflies) that I have not seen in previous years, only in 2021, in the state of West Virginia.
Thanks for any help.

If you don’t want to include butterflies it’s going to be a lot more complicated.

I think that was done with:
&without_taxon_id=47224

Try out the search URLs paired with the Compare tool. Then click the “not in common” button and sort the “In 2021” column on the right by greatest to fewest observations:

That’s a lotta moths!

Oh, right, for some reason I was forgetting that unlike moths, butterflies are all under one superfamily.

Thank you, I did not know about the Compare Tool.
