Used to be called Henderson County, now Fruitland

These are my first two observations of a certain boxelder tree:

https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/266870745
They are at the exact same location, which I did not pin, but put in a text file called iNat in the directory of the surveying job. The location is a ground shot near the tree. The first observation is in Henderson County, the second in Fruitland. Why?

Similarly, my latest spring peeper observation was in Bat Cave, according to the sign by the road, but is listed as only being in Henderson County. (The sign on 64-74A near the Henderson-Rutherford line was washed away by Helene.)

it may be worth reading https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/curiously-variable-inferred-location/34937/11 and my subsequent post in that same thread.

another possibilty is simply that Google didn’t have anything defined at the particular location except county at the time of observation creation. this could vary if observations at the same place were created at different times.
