And this bird
I’m not much of a bearder

But even I have to admit that there are so many gorgeous blue birds: many corvids (like red billed blue magpies, blue jays, etc.), bluebirds, kingfishers, rollers . . . the list goes on.
Bielzias! Adorable slimy jewels of the Carpathian mountains ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ![]()

Your emoticon… is that… Thaana for the hands?
I can’t really say I’m a bearder either ![]()
Oriental Magpie (Pica serica)

Beautiful iridescent feathers!
Oh ma gawd that looks so cool, especially the spread-out tail feathers!
It’s a lot cooler than the Oriental Magpie Robin we got india -_-
Well, how else is he going to communicate his disapproval of everybody’s shenanigans?
That’s a gorgeous Dancer! Hopefully, a personal research project that I’m trying to get off the ground will help with figuring out just how far Springwater Dancers have moved in to the area.
(For what it’s worth, I’d strongly lean towards Vivid Dancer for this one.) ![]()
I wish we had magpie robins in korea. they’re so cute and even have korean common name!
also I think oriental magpies could spread into india naturally in future (I don’t know it would be good or bad tho)
Kind of reminds me of the Aztec Dancers I saw in New Mexico! :)
The newest addition to my neverending collection of blue things I found out existed and immediately fell in love with – Stropharia! Carpathian mountains sure are a goldmine of all things delightful and blue <3
Really? I think Oriental Magpie Robins are absolutely worth it for their song.
I somehow haven’t heard that call yet!
Surprised there’s no gentians in here yet! Here’s two I’ve seen this fall.
Might be a difference in perception of what counts as blue!
To me those gentians look purple(´∇`)
Indigo :) ![]()
