What happens when one of the images included in a Genus is incorrect?

I have just noticed that the Ozomanthus genus (only white or pink flowers, to my knowledge) includes an image of a yellow flowering plant which is quite possibly a Cassinia. Am a newbie here, so if I am correct, IF??? how does this get fixed?

I assume you are referring to the photos on the taxon page?

You can edit taxon photos by clicking on the button “curation” on the right side of the screen and selecting “edit photos” (you do not have to be a curator to edit photos).

Usually taxon photos are drawn from RG observations, so you may also want to check if there is an observation linked to the photo in question and correct the ID for the observation – or you may want to ask the IDers about why they think it is Ozothamnus. (It seems that Ozothamnus obcordatus does indeed have yellow flowers?)

If you are confident - you can go to the taxon page and remove that image. Click thru to that obs and check the ID there too please?

On the taxon page.
Click Curation.
Click Edit Photos.

History is recorded so we can see who did what. Sally removed picture #. John added this one. Mary moved pic 7 to pic 2 … and the domino of resulting musical chairs.

PS Sorry. Writing at the same time.
