That is just a random weird glitch.
The computer vision gets confused in the immediate aftermath of a taxon split.
Carduelis caniceps was split from Carduelis carduelis in Taxonomic Split 149074. It’ll take a while before the suggestions know which is expected where again.
A similar thing is going on with any European Herring Gull uploaded in Europe being auto-suggested as an American Herring Gull.
