Sometimes observations of the same species are listed under two different species names. e.g. Symphyotrichum subulatum-squamatum. Where can the doubtful division be indicated?
You can “flag” a taxa going on its page ( https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/169489-Symphyotrichum-squamatum ) go down > curation > flag for curation.
Explain your issue (synonym here - from what i understand) and curators will review it. Make sure to take a look to POWO’s position since it’s the backbone of flora discussion on iNat.
