Why does Eukaryota revert to State of Matter Life?

I just now tried to ID a multi-species observation as Eukaryota (because there were no Prokaryotes in it), and I saw that it would just revert to State of Matter Life. But Eukaryotes are not synonymous with life – they are but one domain of life. What is the reason for this taxonomic inaccuracy?

iNat doesn’t use domains so it makes sense that you can’t ID as such. They aren’t synonymous with life, but that’s the next most accurate option with the current system.
