With the project trusted, your observations shouldn’t be excluded based on obscuration rectangles. Only the size of the accuracy circle. But FWIW you can view the obscuration rectangle if you log out or open the observation in an incognito/private browsing window.
You curate a project that contains this observation: You can see obscured coordinates when you curate a project that contains an observation and the observer has chosen to share coordinates with curators of that project.
Thanks bouteloua, I think I understand all of your replies. Yes, it looks like it is the feature request you mention that I am really looking for, so I put in my ask there too. Thank-you.
I have just started a new project where my only filters are location and ‘research grade’/‘needs ID’. I have over 50 observations that meet both of these requirements and yet only 1 shows in the project. Any suggestions? When I change the location to worldwide they all show up so this must be the issue. However I have only filtered by country and they are all listed as recorded in that same country. Many thanks!
Some (but not all) of my observations taken within my project field are not showing up in my project. This morning I took pictures of a bumblebee in the meadow my project takes place in–the observation shows up in “my observations” but will not populate into my project. I have set the project to accept any “grade” of observation. Help!
Hi, I added a few observations over the past few days and some were recorded as being in my project - but others were not - AND I cannot add them manually, no matter how I try with manipulating the marker on the map or on trying to add to a project (as my project does not show in the list) - Help please!
This should be in Heleomyzid projects and its not… it seems to meet all requirements mentioned on this post and in the project itself. What are we missing?
that observation is indeed in both of those projects; it’s just that the label/name for each project doesn’t appear on the record because the observer hasn’t joined either project
collection projects only appear at this side panel if the observer has joined them (traditional projects will always appear there)
Both of those observations are in your project. If you look at the Species tab in your project, there’s one observation for each of those species — the two observations you linked. Can you explain why you didn’t think they were in your project? Thanks!
