Your best photos of the week!

@shreedave look! a two-in-one! Large maple spanworm moth and an orange-shouldered sherbet moth!
And a three (Or four) in one if you count this one, which includes two painted lichen moths!

Here’s a better look at that lovely sherbet moth; its wings are translucent!! And I love the little hairs dotting its ethereal wings :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
I’ll let you choose which one is the best, because I can’t!

Admittedly nowhere near as good as everyone else’s photos, but here’s my few:

Common Jezebel (taken via binoculars)

A t-posing cormorant

DuCk

And lastly this juvenile night heron (who looks like he forgot his car keys or something idk)

Wow! The sherbet moth is really awesome, but the best photo is obviously the first one with both those cool moths. Pearl moths are one of my favourite moth subfamilies!

Oh, forget I had an entry for this week. Well, here’s one of my lifer springtails which was found in a nice little stream area. A beautiful Pogonognathellus elongatus, and was the largest springtail I’ve ever seen - a whopping 5-6mm!

Yeah I probably shouldn’t have. Just ignore the poll.

P.S. Guys stop voting for me just because I made the topic. There’s plenty of better pics out there.

I don’t vote based on random unrelated things, I vote based on photo quality. You are one of the best photographers in this thread in my opinion. Just look at your photos!

Well, I think it’s more like 4 wins, because some of them are multiple photos in one :)

Soo, @whistlingduck, how does it feel to congratulate yourself for winning photo of the week?
I did really like your frog, by the way, the green background and foreground were so pretty
