Got these pretty decent shots of a egret and pond heron in some lilies.

Plus this sand Oliver and greenshank.

I’m happy with this shot of a jackdaw I took the other day at a lake. Only stayed 15 minutes though because it started raining…

Here is an Eastern Wolf I photographed along Highway 60 in Algonquin Park. One of the best experiences of my life.

Nice, I’ve always wanted to see a wolf (or any natural canine) but unfortunately us humans have removed them from most places.

They’re quite pretty!

Also they are very curious and enter my house too, i think these birds enter searching for food. They scare when they notice me but seems that they don’t care because they just keep coming, probably to find where i hide the seeds.

Cleaning with a sensor cleaning kit isn’t that tricky. And I get about 8 cleaning sessions for the price of one I would get from a camera store.

Toughest part? You get only one swab wipe per swab side, per direction.

I’m lucky. My mirrorless Sony Alpha has a lens change maybe, twice a year at most. Being a macro enthusiast keeps that lens parked for a long time.

Best, personally?

After being shut-in by the snow for a few weeks, I took some time during a calm lull, for a longer walk down to a neighbourhood park. That’s where I spotted this (Dolichovespula maculata) Bald-faced Hornet’s nest amongst the bushes.

Nice to know that while we’re all mostly confined, but safe inside, many insects are following the same survival plan.

And yeah, it’s not my technically ‘best’ from a photography standpoint and certainly not intended to be in the ‘contest’ here, but from an emotional ‘exposure’, it was a very moving thing to see.
