Your best photos of the week!

@nikthecowboy’s Birds

@tom_reichner’s Horned Lark

@whistlingduck’s Snowy Owl

Will go to the final! 3 finalists, each with 20% of the votes!

Then, we have the final qualification results: @cooldood’s Snowflake and @tjeales’s Pied Cormorant win!

Poll comes 2moro!

Nice, one of the few Lepidocyrtus that can be brought to species. This should be L. paradoxus.

More than that. It’s inevitable.

First Final Poll:

0 voters

Due to the fact that there are 3 4thQ finalists (equal votes), 5thQ finalists will be merged into the Second Poll!

With Q5 closed, tjeales’ Pied Cormorant and cooldood’s Snowflake will fight in the final!
The last 2 polls will be closing soon!
If there are more than 3 finalists with same number of votes there will be only the 1st place that moves on! (otherwise we would have a 3rd final poll as well)

Note: not all potential winners can be added to the iNat project; some, like @cooldood’s Snowflake photo, don’t have an organism as a critter. Amazing photo BTW!

in this case, if the votes stay as they are, only @niekfermont’s Crocodile will pass… although all photos are great, there can only be few finalists!

Thats right ! The lighting and timing was the most lucky i ever think i was with wildlife. Sunrise early in the morning. It was a male together with a young female. I didnt know they traveled in sets like this :)

Oh no, was trying to look at where I’d been @ tagged and accidentally self-voted in whatever poll backlog instead for the first one I encountered… :joy:

We got to go on vacation to the desert last week and I was very happy with these pictures of a very beautiful and very cooperative Costa’s Hummingbird who sat very still while I took his photo!
