# Your take on AI generated notes in observation notes field

I hope this isn’t too much of a digression, but I didn’t realize notes were uploaded to GBIF, and now I’m paranoid about what I’ve been using notes for. I found a forum discussion ( [https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/tags-and-notes-what-and-why/66369](https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/tags-and-notes-what-and-why/66369) ) that indicates I’m generally following the intended use (e.g. [this](https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/325582432) one), but I’ve also sometimes included things that, for instance, I intended as an apology to the IDers, but would be useless for GBIF (e.g. [this one](https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/325582432)).

In the interests of GBIFers, should I be more careful with my notes?
