Observation fields are for sure a great option

Anja, I don’t have an opinion on this, but you reminded me of this:

The fact that Observation Fields is a banned topic for feature requests, the slow-walk addition of Annotations as an alternative for some observation fields (I assume flower visitation will never be one), and the general sense I’ve seen searching the forums that there’s a resignation that observation fields are, and will always be, a chaotic mess
