Yes, it is. We already know that humans occur in every locality where it is possible to make direct observations. We already know that the humanities are a separate branch of academia from iNat’s purview. Such observations do not add to the furtherance of iNat’s mission.

These are needed to keep track of feral populations. Also there is sometimes confusion between species. If someone is not allowed to post an observation of what they think is a lost or feral domestic rabbit, I wouldn’t be able to check to see if that ID is correct. It might actually be a cottontail.
