I’m pretty sure rufus x nabisoensis is blue.

The family ‘troglodytes’ is an ancient one, with many members. It has diversified to both land and aquatic environments. However, I think that humans are having a profound impact on this species. It’s primary prey, sp cookie, is reducing in number do to humans mass producing them as livestock without regards to quality. I found one recently that melted in my hand, and another one that was stone hard. So, understandably, the troglodytes species is reducing in numbers due to poisoning from these bad cookies. Hence, we must act to save the species from certain extinction. To learn more about the species, watch the documentary ‘sesame street’ to learn about it’s behavior. To help the species today, try baking quality cookies, and setting them free into the wild to feed your local Troglodytes. If we work together, we can save them! #Savethetroglodytes

It can vary from individual to individual. Most are blue, but some can be red too.

There appears to be a large genus of very big birds, with different species in different parts of the world.

The American species is a bright yellow, but there are other species with variations in color, size, and feathers:

The thing I find most interesting about these large birds, with front facing eyes, is their docile nature and friendliness to humans, especially children.

You could have used Monstera. Of course that would also be just a placeholder because it is already taken by a plant.

Except that it doesn’t use pronouns. The native name “elmo” is how it refers to itself.

Props to the Sesame Street team for catching so much clear footage of these rare animals.

why are the large feet the defining feature when this organism appears to have table tennis balls for eyes?

Sometimes you can identify the rare blue species under discussion by its unusual song:

I was about to commend you on the effort you put into it… glorious!

Garibaldo from Brazil seems to be a carnivorous bird.

I don’t know… Look at the shape of the bill. Looks like it’s designed for dabbling or perhaps pursuit fishing.

Interesting how it seems to be in a human area. Are they unafraid of humans?

Actually, Garibaldo looks like a hybrid cross between the Cookie Monster x Big Bird.

Are these all in the same family?
