Under policy we have today it’s hard to do, some shootings belong to Google, but what about personal ones? Can they be used the same way? And can all their authors agree? Can we even get an agreement from Google for this? Next, we need 1 acc for all sightings, with an access for everyone.
I don’t think iNat is a place for that unless you were the one who made the shooting or maybe if you’re on the pic. Database or a whole website sounds better. If we start to agree on use of copyrighted material of one source it will lead to another way, and so on.
I thought about plants on street view, it’s an interesting information, but it belongs to another place unless we have something like shared account.
