Thank you for launching this discussion. Dealing with marine/brackish critters that I am realizing are widely wrongly ID’d in iNat, and will not be identifiable even to genus with ordinary methods, this I think will be helpful in working out a protocol our projects can follow (almost certainly also entailing a standard comment explaining the situation)
