Do ethical arguments apply to the actions of non-human animals?

we’ve got enough problems with the behavior of our own species, harming each other and devastating ecosystems, especially given the cultural context and the fact that some cultural and economic systems do this more so than others. the last thing we need to worry about is whether other species are ethical.
