iNaturalist in New York City - What to do?

@fffffffff Despite what most people would assume, most of NYCs tree canopy occurs in natural areas and represents species indigenous to the area:

NYC is a bit over-represented by observers. ;-)

Even more information about NYC’s trees available from Forest for All NYC. See also their NYC Urban Forest Agenda roadmap that came out last year.

Not to mention that tourists to Kruger aren’t going there to see flies, rove beetles, mosses, and such. So there will tend to be a bias as to what in Kruger is noticed and observed.

Many of those parks, I think you can’t wander around because of elephants and lions

Bias is that in many African NP you can’t even get out of car, that’s why there’re so few observations of plants and insects, you just can’t reach them!
