This article is heartwarming and it resonated well with how I feel about iNaturalist. It’s not the kind of article that I usually read about the site so I’m glad that you showed this aspect. One of the reasons why I support this site is because it encourages one to learn and care about nature regardless of educational background, age etc. This is one of the reasons why I think iNaturalist has become a blueprint of what citizen science community site should be and I hope it continues to do so. Hats off to the iNaturalist team and to everyone in this community!
