Least studied taxa, where do we need research?

Great, thanks! Many dune plant species found in the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes complex are found in Baja, such as the rare beach spectacle pod. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if certain animals followed suit.

In general, for the most part, I’m hearing that the least studied life are; microscopic organisms, and invertebrates of all types.
