It might save identifier time and patience if there could be some focus on the garden hybrids most frequently posted by student and CNC projects could be added sooner rather than later. As just one example, seeing the options for Viola x wittrockiana or Viola x williamsii, hordes of well meaning students are identifying the pansies in their campus flowerbeds as everything else under the sun during the North American spring and fall semesters. There are many others, if the most corrected ones can be identified, we can rally the identifier troops to help.
As has been discussed in many other threads on this forum, these plants are not the main focus of iNaturalist but do take up a lot of time to weed out from the plant observations.
