Nature-inspired memes

I will use this in my defense next time someone is frustrated with me for taking my time on a hike!!

My mum and I went on a walk on Thursday out in the bush (compared our normal around-town-morning walk) and what should’ve taken us half an hour to an hour took us two hours because we stopped quite often!

These are from my birding group chat

The first one is so relatable! Trust me, everytime I decide not to bring a camera, I always see some sort of animal I don’t normally see…

I have an unspoken rule that if I am going to go outside for more than five minutes I need my camera with me or where it’s very easily accessed. I wouldn’t even think of not taking it if I’m going to be away from home.

That is how I am too! When I go to the library with my family, I seriously desire to bring my camera each time, because then we MIGHT stop by the lake, and even if I’m trying not to look, I’ll see a lifer anyway.

I thought this was clever and cute! Embroidery done by Joyous Stitcher on IG (shared with permission)

Crested Caracara in Michigan, in February, inspired me to riff off the “Nihilist” Penguin.

The observation link crashes the inat app. From what I read in the other thread link, it seems appropriate:)

hahahaha best meme

Dunno if it’s meme, but it made me LOL.

Anyone else hear it in Louis’ voice?
