I was walking through a bog in my county(Nassau NY) when I stumbled across a rare plant that has not been seen in 28 years in the county. I don’t know if I said this before but I actually have two obs of unidentified sharks from 2023 in Tonga.

Mine’s either the six Tipula pagana I saw (species only has ~340 observations) or a coniopterygid larva I spotted today (only about 70 observations of the larvae!).

I had the first record of a jumping spider species in Mississippi! It’s a prairie species and was found on a small remnant of the Blackbelt Prairie!
