Tool for making observations printer-friendly

this is already displayed after each observation.

i had thought about doing that eventually and maybe also saving the user’s parameters in local storage, and maybe an option for a qr code, among other things, but i never got around to any of that. maybe i’ll do it when i change the code to hit v2 instead of v1.

if you have any other suggestions, i might wrap it all in one big update.

I looked for it at the top – I wasn’t expecting it to be after each obs, since the total number of results isn’t (in my mind) a property of each observation. And since most of your other pages show it once at the top.
I’ll amend my request to have it listed at the top (preferably in a larger size), but obviously you are free to do whatever you want

ok. that shouldn’t be too hard. there are a lot of things that i would probably change about the way i built that page if i had known what i know today. that was the first one i built using the iNat API, and i used a lot of old-style JS, too. (the other pages use a little bit of old-style JS, but less so.) i almost can’t believe it’s already been more than 6 years.
