True; chemical compositions etc. is not my area of expertise lmao. That said, in my select example at least, there are already a bunch of chemicals such as mercury in SFL fresh water from agriculture and treating melaleuca is the lesser of two evils.

Roundup does break down reasonably quickly but also binds strongly to soil (so it tends to stay in place once bound)

yeah while roundup shouldnât be overused, itâs actually one of the least toxic (to humans) pesticides out there. Obviously itâs very toxic to plants. But people donât seem to realize what sorts of soil fumigants and carcinogens are regularly used for factory farming, at least in the USA
