What is the monetary value of your volunteer work for iNat?

I certainly hope I don’t get paid for this. The only reason I spend time identifying on iNat is because I genuinely enjoy it. I like helping people- whether or not I’m actually making a huge difference is up for debate—but the process itself is fun and fulfilling for me. That’s why, when iNat sent out those surveys, I didn’t hesitate to give a 10/10. I simply love being part of this community, and putting a dollar value on that would miss the point entirely.
