What to do about intentional troll IDs?

@blue8235, what you were seeing was in no way a problem. It is the intended way for the service to work. Please look at that help topic https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/help#coarse-ids

If you were expecting people to quickly identify plant species, that is not how it works. It often takes months and in some cases it never happens. This is absolutely normal. Plant identification is hard.

Identifiers are people. Not a ‘service’.

I emailed help@inaturalist.org with the issue and they’ve removed the accounts completely (including all their identifications). Solved.
