Thanks for your response @tiwane, you clearly put a lot of time and effort into the OotW. I don’t want to add to your workload, but what if we encouraged more people to sign up for the language fluent curators? Would that make it easier for you to feature non-English speakers?
Regarding security/privacy concerns, I myself almost never post photos at the time I take them because I don’t feel comfortable broadcasting my current location. I have 3 suggestions to address this issue:
- implement draft mode so users can queue up observations to post after they’ve left the area (other reasons for draft mode discussed in that thread)
- implement the geofence
- look over the geoprivacy on-boarding materials to see if anything can be improved
