Great work! iNaturalist is indeed a very nice source for high quality images. There is also an edition of Wikipedia weekly on this matter. One of the community members wrote a script that allows selecting images with Wikipedia compatible licenses; https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Kaldari/iNaturalist2Commons.
For those active on both platforms, there is a [wikiproject] (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Biodiversity) that aims at streamlining the reuse of content between iNaturalist and the WIkimedia platforms.
