Wild in an urban place?

This toad was on the sidewalk near a building, and then a garter snake’s head came up out of the crack in the building and it bit the toad. Surprisingly, the toad did not end up dying - but the snake gave up after a while and the toad hopped away. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/20291223

Also, this one shows a glass lizard (legless lizard) on the sidewalk of a town. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/20024192

I found this this poor Giant Emperor Moth lying on the back on the train platform when I was running to catch my train. Luckily I didn’t step on it and it was still alive. So I brought it to a bush instead of taking my train ;)

I had 1 day to spend in Nice France, and optomized my time for inaturalizing. I hiked along the coast and then over a small mountain park, but I made this observation after I got back into town on my way to find dinner, A Wall Pennywort (Umbilicus rupestris) growing out of a wall. its not an uncommon plant, but we don’t have it in the states so I thought it was neat. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/21792029

Snuggled between Dallas and Fort Worth, 4th largest population center circa 2010, just north of DFW airport at a soccer field near Lake Grapevine.

Some deer horseplay, err, deerplay. :)

This peregrine falcon was just nonchalantly sitting outside the window of my apartment a few years back:

As iNaturalist has a global reach it may be worth specifying that this in relation to the United States. I live in the 5th largest population center and it has more than three times the population as the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex. ;)

And people say Americans are US centric. :)

Thanks for pointing that out.

I found this birch tree growing a few metres up and out the side of a derelict, earthquake-damaged building in Christchurch today.
