Your target birds, which are hard to see but not rare?

I’d love to find a Striped Flufftail (Sarothrura affinis) here in the Western Cape of South Africa, chances are pretty good that I can find it in a nearby coastal reserve with dense Fynbos scrub as these sites are where they prefer to feed on insects while staying in cover, though I’ll probably need to stay well hidden to catch a glimpse!

They can be found throughout South Africa, from the Peninsula in the Southwest to the Wolkberg Mountains in the Northeast, but breeding pairs are restricted mostly to isolated, fire-prone grasslands along the central escarpment. They are on our national Birds Redlist
