Cool link! Mine are all over the place , but seeing as how i am working through Alabama’s backlog of non-RG observations they are things very commonly photographed. The surprising thing is it doesn’t show things at species or complex, which I am sure I would see a couple other things high on the list…

Dumb question: How are you getting the list sorted by number identifications? I can get the thumbnails for most observed but none of the filters do anything for identify.

There is a catch with the URL: it will show the (final) species, even when I identified at genus or family level only. E.g. I identified several plants as “Impatiens”, but I am sure that hardly any of them to species level, and for sure none to “Impatiens semounensis” though 8 are shown.

The reason I say it’s not is that bird species like these tend to get 6 agreeing IDs within a few minutes of upload. It would be useful if I was the only one identifying them, but my IDs don’t even remove them from other people’s workload; I think most of the IDs on easy species come from subscripti…

Here’s mine. Mostly birds, though Western Conifer Seed Bugs gets in with the number 8 spot. Many of the species (Mallard, Muscovy Duck, Greylag Goose, and Swan Goose) have domestic forms which I try to separate from their wild counterparts.
