Glassmith

Im happiest when I’m outside, in my garden, natural bushland surrounded by animals, birds and insects.
I find the decrease in insect biodiversity very disturbing and admit to not feeling at all positive about our planets immediate future (the next 50 to 100 years maybe) whilst we Humans continue to be a destructive disrespectful plague upon it.
Recording that dwindling biodiversity at times seems a little like Nero fiddling yet I hope I might be contributing in a positive way in doing so.
I enjoy photographing the life in my natural environment, iNaturalist has provided me with justification to do so more often, to the detriment of my incredibly long To Do list.Taking good photos with as much useful detail as possible I now know requires a steady hand, lightening reflexes, amazing flexibility and the sure footedness of a mountain goat so apologies in advance.
