Hello! I am an ecologist that works at the University of North Texas as a laboratory coordinator for undergraduate courses in Ecology and Environmental Sciences. I use iNat to learn about taxa, to make friends, and to teach my students. iNat is my hobby, my tool for teaching and learning, and a great avenue for making connections with like-minded people in my area in north central Texas (DFW). I strive to only identify taxa that I am familiar with, although I am prone to mistakes like everyone. I use iNat to document species on my Pollinative Prairie project, my neighborhood biodiversity, and the City of Denton Trees conservation project.
