Arachnologist | Ecologist | Science Communicator

I’m Jillian Suh-Kurovski and I am an arachnologist currently studying at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay as well as an outreach coordinator for the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity.

My bachelor’s degree is in Animal ecology with a minor in entomology. My masters is in Environmental Science and Policy, but my specialization is spiders! My masters thesis is centered on spider diversity on local endangered habitat and how it does or does not reflect the vegetative community.

Aside from research as a graduate student, one of my jobs is promoting iNaturalist to local communities and showing people the benefits it has for all levels of scientists!
