Born in South Arkansas in 1940, a love of nature has been central in most of my life. In 2014 I decided to leave the U.S. to live solo in my favorite nature place, Costa Rica. I blog about it almost daily on my “Retired in Costa Rica” BLOG at charliedoggett.net I also volunteer for the research site butterfliesandmoths.org. Discovering iNaturalist was a breakthrough for me. I am now trying to add some of my older nature photos to iNat along with my weekly observations here in Costa Rica.
