Reptile systematics, taxonomy, evolution, biogeography, and venoms. Extensive field experience in Central America and throughout the USA, as well as experience in South Africa. My area of expertise is the herpetofauna of these regions (especially snakes), and I have a particular affinity for small fossorial/semi-fossorial taxa.

My secondary focus on iNaturalist is to learn invertebrates, especially harvestmen, hemipteran hoppers, and moths. I appreciate any and all invert ID corrections.
